Summer summer summertime.

Happy summer, kids, a few days late.
I love summertime in MPLS.
It means backyard fires,
sunday morning farmer's market trips,
and lots of visitors.
I'm sure it means swimming in lakes and getting sunburns, too,
but I mostly avoid all of that stuff.
Louderhorn Inn is about to get busy.
East Coast and West Coast are both meeting in the middle,
and it's going to be a bike riding, art making party,
all summer long

(except, of course, when I bring the party east in july.
I'm stopping in Ohio,
then to my post-Maynard House but not-yet-named-Massachusetts-home-away-from-home while I do a guest spot at Off the Map,
then up to the Folk Life and Liberty Fortress in New Hampshire,
then CT,
and then MD before I head back home.
But don't worry,
Handsome Adam will be back in town,
and will be Head Innkeeper while I'm away.
What?!
Yup.
Handsome Adam, hanging out.
It's gonna be a summer,
I'm telling you. )

After four years, I finally finished Ryan's chef sleeve.
Today we just did some finishing touches and a little filler,
like this brussel sprout (can that really be singular?)
and garlic bulb.
His pepper shaker healed great,
and it's awesome (but a little sad)
to see it all completed, finally.
He'll probably burn off parts of it on the ovens every week or so,
but I'm hoping to get full, healed photos of it before he does.
